Celebrate Mom

May 4, 2010

Mother’s Day is almost here so what are you going to do for her?  I found a few ideas that would be great but you may have to forward this on to your husbands email to give him a hint!  Because lets face it ladies men really don’t know what we want or how much to spend unless you give them some hints.

As for me, being with my family and enjoying a good meal that I didn’t fix is right up there with any expensive gift.  I also cherish any handmade note or card that my kids do for me.  From the heart is what all of us really want.  What ever you choose to do just make sure she feels special!

If your looking for a cute way to make mom feel like queen for the day then this little craft just might do it.  At Kaboose.com you’ll find lots of ideas to make mom feel special.

I’m absolutely in love with this homemade flower bracelet by Disney.  You have got to go to her blog Ruffles and Stuff and find out how easy this one is to make but how beautiful too.

What mom wouldn’t love a simple bouquet of flowers hung from their door when they woke up in the morning. Get the know how from Chasing Fireflies

Who would love to have these pancakes served in bed or heck just served to them sitting at the table…ME!!  If you want the recipe then hop on over to Our Best Bites.com for these heavenly looking pancakes plus more inspiring recipes.

At the Picky Palate Jenny never lets you down with her creative and inspiring recipes.  My mouth is watering just looking at these yummy treats.

What about Dinner?  We got to eat some stick to your ribs stuff and Smitten Kitchen has just the thing by way of this tangy spicy brisket. (hint, hint)

Dreamy Pies are what mom’s love at least this one does and coconut cream is a favorite.  Try this one out  from the Food Network and Emeril Lagasse!

Make sure to give these blogs a shout out by commenting, bloggers love it!

Hey Suzanne. You’re so stinkin’ talented. I made your chicken spaghetti the other night for dinner and it was a total hit. We all loved it. Thanks for sharing. Also, when can we come for a visit, either this summer or fall? Let me know if you’re even up for out of state visitors or if you guys are too busy.

    • Oh I’m so glad you all liked the chicken spaghetti 🙂 You can come anytime we will be here in Oct. like you all were planning so come on. The weather will be nice then so we can actually go outside. Thanks for the nice compliments!
